I began working in the Bradley County Clerk’s office in 1980, and ran for office and was elected in 2008. I have two deputies that assist in the responsibilities of some of the many duties of the clerk’s office.

County Clerk Duties

• Secretary to the Quorum Court
• Secretary to the Equlization Board
• Filing and recording County Court orders
• Payroll
• Accounts payable
• Voter registration
• Election records
• Marriage licenses
• Recording DBA Certifications (Doing business under an assumed name)
• Provide birth and death certificate forms

Probate Clerk Duties

Maintaining the following records:

• Decedent estates
• Small estates
• Guardianships
• Civil commitments
• Adoptions (Sealed and confidential)
